ABOUT katie

Therapy provides an opportunity to heal

emotional wounds, gain awareness about the

self, and learn to create healthy relationships

with those around you.

I focus on helping individuals overcome trauma

in their lives, whether seemingly big or small

in order to create a life with authenticity,

resilience, and healthy esteem.

Those who have past trauma, eating disorders,

or issues with body image can learn how to

regain control of their lives in a safe and

non-judgmental environment in which

self-acceptance can develop, healing can

occur, and one's fullest potential can be

reached.

I work with “tweens”, adolescents, and adults

with diverse issues. Areas of clinical expertise

and interest include Eating Disorders and Nutritional

Counseling, as well as trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

With experience in both eating disorders and trauma, as well as being a personal fitness trainer and nutrition fitness coach, I have an understanding in helping a wide variety of individuals on physical and emotional levels. I find it important to gain mindfulness and cohesion within the body, mind, and spirit.
